Funny, if you’ve been looking out for a gay “Scary Movie,” cascading with silly spoofs. Writer-director Todd (Edge of Seventeen”) Stephens’ fairly faithful riff to the plot of “American Pie”—four gay teenagers have to lose their virginity before heading off to college—is as much John Waters Lite as anything else, with gross-out grotesquerie involving bodily fluids and sex toys in a suburban setting but lacking that extra, subversive kick, unless you count stereotyping Asians. And gerbils. And NAMBLA. With Michael Carbonaro, Jonathan Chase, Jonah Blechman, Mitch Morris, Scott Thompson, Graham Norton, Ashlie Atkinson, Stephanie McVay, Lypsinka, Megan Saraceni, Darryl Stephens, Matthew Rush and jailbird Richard Hatch (“Survivor”). 92m.
