Bob “Butterbean” Love has added yet another accomplishment to his already lengthy list. “Find Yourself a Dream: The Bob Love Story” was recently awarded the first place prize of $1000 from The Stuttering Foundation. With nearly a million members, the foundation is the largest as well as oldest nonprofit organization dedicated to helping those who stutter. While Love is recognized as a staple of the Bulls organization and is regarded as one of the greatest players to don a Bulls jersey, “Find Yourself a Dream” focuses on Love’s struggles with stuttering. The president of the foundation, Jane Fraser, recalls that the film “really captured what someone who stutters has to go through.” The one-hour documentary bowled over judges as well as those in the organization upon receiving the film. “Just about everyone wanted to borrow the DVD to show it to their husbands,” says Fraser, who hopes that the film will come as an inspiration for kids and adults alike. Look for the DVD to be in stores soon.
