While “The Incredible Hulk,” a revisiting of the Marvel figure only a few years after Ang Lee’s psychology-driven version, moves with gratifying speed and craft, it’s likely that there were some deeper, perhaps even ponderous passages that hit the cutting-room floor once the studio managed to change the locks and keep star-uncredited co-writer Ed Norton out of the editing bays. All the strengths of composition and action choreography director Louis Leterrier demonstrated in “The Transporter” and “Unleashed” are on show here, with the helpful nudge of more money and relentless editing. With Tim Roth, William Hurt, Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson. (Ray Pride)
