“AAAFFFPPP” is the sort of noise the advertising industry might make if deflated by a group of anti-corporate counter-culturalists—it also stands for the Anti-Advertising Agency Foundation For Freedom PowerPoint Presentation, which was designed to accomplish just that goal. This Saturday, Anne Elizabeth Moore, creator of the AAAFFFPPP and executive director of the foundation, will present her creation at a film festival devoted to “charming and radical films about corporate malfeasance and the triumph of autonomous culture.” Moore’s message is conveyed in the catchy title of her recent book, “Unmarketable: Brandalism, Copyfighting, Mocketing, and the Erosion of Integrity.” She and fellow anti-advertising icon Franklin Lopez will host the film festival, titled “I’m Doing This to Win Your Heart,” at The Hideout at 8pm. Films by Conrad Schmidt, Jo Dery and the Graffiti Research Lab will further what Moore describes as “a revolution that’s sort of about sincerity and charm.” Moore says that she “can’t stop giggling about it because it’s just so awesome.”
