Paul Andrew Williams’ “London to Brighton,” is a grim, brutal, assured no-budget digital video feature that takes the mickey out of posh poseurs like Guy Ritchie. This is vital genre work that does not flinch from its lowlife characters. Essentially, it’s a fractured, sidewalk-level chase tale about two prostitutes, one a pre-teen, on the run. It’s pulp without pretension. 86m. (Ray Pride)
